Heat Pump Pool Heaters: Demystified & Simplified

This course will cover installation of heat pumps using the WAVES method (Water, Air, Vapor/Refrigerant, Electric & Spacing). Participants will learn the history of heat pump technology, how heat pumps work, the differences in effectiveness/efficiency of heat pumps compared to gas heaters, how to identify customer’s preferences between heat pumps and gas heaters, how to size a heat pump and proper installation of heat pumps.
